Project overview
Our team developed a fully automated job board platform for Venture University, designed to connect
employers (including
portfolio companies and alumni) with candidates. This platform features
job search functionality with advanced filters,
employer dashboards for job postings and
upgrades, automated email sequences, and payment integrations for premium
features
(e.g., featured jobs, shortlisting, HR outsourcing). The project also handles job
imports, deduplication, and
stale job management.
Below are the technologies and stack Implemented in
this project:
- Database & Data Management: Airtable – Configured tables for Jobs, Employers, Candidates, Orders, with
fields
for
filtering (e.g., title, level, location). Handled data sync, deduplication, and automated closures for
stale
jobs.
- Frontend & User Interfaces: Softr – Built the public job board with search and filters, candidate lead
capture
forms,
and a secure employer portal for posting jobs, dashboards, and upgrades.
- Automation & Workflows: Make – Set up scenarios for daily job imports, deduplication, employer alerts,
candidate
notifications, order tracking, internal team notifications, weekly job refreshes, and nightly stale job
closures.
- Email Marketing & Sequences: ConvertKit – Configured automated sequences for candidates (welcome emails,
weekly
curated
job digests, program invites) and employers (onboarding, 30-day upsell emails).
- Payments & Monetization: Stripe – set up product catalog with pricing tiers.
